I'm surprised that they would deal him within the Division. The Skins have not had a long term answer at starting QB for a long time, and McNabb should solidify the position for 5 seasons. I think this totally makes it so the Skins will take Russel Okung with their first pick in the draft unless the Lions grab him first. I might look for the Skins to move down a bit too if they can since the only pick they'll have in the top 100 is that first pick.

I see why the Eagles make the move, it's asset management. They are moving towards being a younger team and Kolb can grow with that group. I hope McNabb does well though, that guy dealt with a lot in Philly and always conducted himself with the utmost professionalism. He deserves to lead the Skins to a couple NFC Championships.
