It wasn't take out, but I had the band-aid moment that most people fear. My friends and I were in a restaurant sharing a platter of finger foods. On the plate, under the potato wedges, there was a band-aid. It took a long while to convince the waitress that I hadn't put it there. We fought for a bit and then she went to get the manager. The manager came out right away and said that we wouldn't have to pay for our meal. I was like, "No frigging joke, I am not paying for this meal and my friends aren't paying for theirs either." And they didn't.
They offered to give us all new meals, but I declined and left.
