What the heck does is matter if he retires as a Bronco, no one will remember him as anything other than a Bronco.

The thing I will remember most about Elam is his complete willingness to tackle on kick offs. He never bailed out and took a couple of guys high and hard in his career.

If there is another HOF kicker, he might be the guy.
