I don't necessarily think a Canucks mod will help. I think it would help bring some much needed objectivity to the board though. I'm not saying mods shouldn't have opinions but I think the primary reason for mods is to maintain a neutral standpoint and moderate activity.

I think posts like the one above saying a Canucks mod would be dumb is the exact reason that a less totally anti-everyone-but-the-Flames viewpoint would be beneficial. A mod should be appointed because they are able to remain neutral and not let their personal viewpoints and opinions get in the way of being fair towards posters. I don't necessarily think a mod needs to be a great contributor but they need to be able to put their personal biases aside and let logic and reason dictate how they moderate the board.

Obviously this is my own opinion on what moderation should be on CP. This is a private site and if it is the perrogative of Bingo and the other mods to have a slanted view then that is their decision. That is not to say that I think the methods of moderation are crap or anything. I'm just saying that there are improvements that could be made to the moderation system.

That being said, if nothing changed I wouldn't really care. However, I thought it was worth letting you guys know what the ideal moderation is for me.
