Playing with teammates you can't just skate around with the puck deking everyone. You're just never sure what they're going to do.

True, but I agree with Justin in that you holding onto the puck isn't always a bad thing. As a d-man on the breakout, I'm almost always looking for a forward to pass to, but I'm not gonna pass it unless someone's open. If by the time i hit the other blueline no one's gotten open, does that make me a puck hog? I've been heckled on OTP for this, but it's better than a turnover...
Also, if you're a winger and you're open at the other blueline, don't move back and forth as it messes with the auto-passing, just hold vision control and wait and i'll hit you if I see you...been a few times ppl move around and the pass goes way to far for icing.
