While the idea of a prion variant as a weaponizible biological agent isn't that big of a stretch, the speed in which it was able to infect was. The same can be said for the Cordilla virus in Season 3. To the best of my knowledge, there aren't many viruses or bacterium that can infect and present symptoms within a few hours. Possibly a few mycotoxins, but nothing approaching Hanta virus/hemorrhagic fever-type symptoms.

I liked the nuclear and chemical terrorist plots - much more feasible. And I am surprised that it has taken until Season 8 before they looked at a radiological dispersal device, which is the most plausible high-impact unconventional weapon terrorists could deploy.

Fair play to the writers for an interesting Season 8 (minus Dana Walsh).
