I imagine there is a lot of messed up looking stuff down there, Plant Earth showed us some pretty interesting stuff at depths.
Would it not be very under populated in the depths though? That makes me think it would be very tough for larger animals to survive, and force the bigger monsters up to feed and leave the depths to weird solo hunters.
