Slightly off topic but is there anything more useless than a camping trip during a fire ban?

Now that my camping buddies are getting older and kids are being brought into the mix I'm seeing more and more trailers being used. As this happens more groups can't get into the heavily treed areas (or "awesome areas" as I commonly refer to them).

Last year we hit upon a gold mine. We were in Penticton and in desperate need. We were at the saddest little campground you've ever seen right next to a highway. My brother in law got tired of it and went scouting for a new location. He found one and told us to saddle up and get moving. When we arrived it was intensely beautiful. This was our site:
