Can you use books bought (or free) on the iBook store on another medium? I just want to know if I need to hunt down 2 different copies to read one on my PC and one on an iPad, or if it works like my iTunes music where I can play it on my computer and my ipods and CD's as long as I follow the limits set by the DRM.
It isn't critical really now that I think about it, because most of the time I would want to be using the iPad anyway.

If you're asking whether or not you can read the books from iTunes directly on a PC or Mac, just like you would listen to music or watch a movie... I don't know for sure. I guess the real question is whether or not Apple considers the books as media files or applications.
If they're media files, I can see Apple adding the ability to open them up inside iTunes (PC or Mac). If they're applications, then no dice.
