That spec says 72.7, but that's at the heat spreader. If HWMonitor is measuring the core (inside the CPU), then you can add 5 degrees to that for a max of 77.7, which you are under but very close to. It's probably a stock cooler though so that's to be expected. |
It hit 80 at points during the test, though standing still it runs at under 30. It didn't crash or act up during the tests.
It hasn't crashed tonight... hoping that since I just installed the driver released today that maaaaybe that ends it. Who knows, the crash I experienced this morning could have been a fluke, given new vcard/new mboard installed yesterday. Suspicious fluke though....
