These are "victories" in the same sense that some starlet who scores a few bucks and some attention after releasing a sex tape has scored a victory.
So sure, she got what she wanted. But she does it by humiliating herself and destroying her own reputation, and in Coulter's case, intentionally damaging the country she proudly claims to be so patriotic about.
Is that really a victory? There's more to life than money and attention. If you are willing to do
anything for money and attention, you are not winning, and you aren't particularly smart either.
