There seems to be so many types I wouldn't have a clue what to get. Thanks for any help.

I tried contacts twice before and couldn't stand them. It always felt like there was something in my eye. Which, of course, there was. And moreover, I could never see well enough with them on.
Really wanting to get rid of the glasses, I went to a laser eye surgeon and he told me that he can't do anything with my prescription except remove the lenses and replace them with man-made lenses. I didn't like the idea of extracting my natural lenses. Plus he told me that I would have trouble focusing with artificial lenses, so he was going to make one eye focus on near objects and the other focused for far objects. All sounded ugly to me, so I decided to try contacts ONE LAST TIME.
This time I found a very good optician who was patient enough to:
(A) take the time to show me the proper procedure to put them in and take them out. Usually I can get them in on the first try now.
(B) tried out various strengths. Previous opticians just took my glasses prescription and gave me those as the contact strength. I have a +6 glasses prescription but desired a +7 contacts so that I can clearly see the iPhone. It sacrifices a bit of my long vision, but working on a computer with tiny resolution all day long means I dearly need good near vision.
(C) tried various brands. With the brand that I currently have, I can go most days without remembering that they are in my eyes.
I've been wearing the contacts every workday and work-evening for 3 weeks now and I'll definitely continue.
What I would suggest is sitting with an optician and working through things with him/her until you find a prescription and brand that works for you. THEN going to ClearlyContacts. I bought 6 boxes of lenses at the opticians for $100. Same 6 boxes on CC is $40 + tax + shipping.
