I hate the CRTC - both in cellular and TV they bow to the big companies and bend over the Canadian consumers.

"Ooooohhh, that Wind Mobile is going to do something crazy like not charge customers $150 for nothing unlimited! They can't come here, can they CRTC???"

"Nope, don't worry Robelus, we will do everything in our power to stop them so you can continue to rape the Canadian consumers. After all, our job is to protect your insanely high profit margins!"

Now the same is happening to TV. I really really wish the next Federal Govenment can get the stones to abolish the ineffective CRTC completely. Time for a true free market. If Direct TV wants to come in let them. If CTV wants to show only American programming, great. Canadians want to complain? Make shows that are worth watching and you will get the chance.
