This is what I was told vis a vi insurance.
Condo Board insurance covers the common area re-construction of the condo exterior and common areas. Condo owner insurance needs to cover non common area replacement. Basically everything from inner wall to inner wall and floor to ceiling (in my case concrete). This includes carpet, appliances, fixtures, etc.
I think I will check my policy when I get home just to be sure

I am pretty sure the condo board is responsible to put in the standard stuff in, insurance would cover any improvements or betterments. You can also get increased coverage called condo contingency coverage incase the board doesnt have enough insurance or the peril isnt covered.
