So far, I've been entertained. Looking forward to seeing more navy/air battles in future episodes.

I agree - my only point is they aren't just doing it differently; they're doing it poorly. This one is barely entertaining whereas BoB was enthralling.
I still have faith they will redeem themselves and this series will end up kicking some major ass.

Since when does 3 = 100?

Honestly if people are disappointed with The Pacific, it is there own fault because the way the Pacific is being made is NOT supposed to be like BoB AT ALL.

That's a straw man argument (aka logical fallacy). You're saying I'm saying I don't like this because it's not like BoB. If that were true, that would be stupid and you'd be right. But that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying I don't like this because I haven't found it to be entertaining.
I was expecting big things because the same people made BoB, but so far they've let me down.

Character development can take place within the episodes and it hasn't (adequately, anyway...IMO of course). Wanting some character development doesn't mean I want three episodes dedicated to it. Geez man, you keep warping what I say lol.

Hopefully it shakes out that way. So far...meh. Glad to hear you're enjoying it, though.
