So given that, I think every new poster needs to be given a chance. There's been cases of poor posters who have become a lot better after being given a chance.

How much of a chance is subjective, I'm by nature more forgiving and lenient, and personally I'd rather wait until it becomes obvious. Other mods give less rope, that's the nature of the beast, it's a subjective thing.

That said, there's currently 18 accounts sitting in the queue awaiting moderator approval, all from BC IP addresses, all registered in the past week or two... So yeah, it could be worse too.
