However I don't believe in the power of the individual to create change on a mass scale. Therefore you would need institutions such as the United Nations to prevent states from 'hoodwinking' their populous. This isn't Nazi Germany, the thing is we and a lot of the world powers, do live in a democracies so we have access to many different news sources and we are still bamboozled by appeals to our emotions.
