The makers of Red Steel had a good point about Natal. Looks cool, but if I'm a game developer how do I make the character move? Without a controller the genres of first person shooters and platformers are pretty much omitted. Any game with movement I just don't see working.
Further there is the issue of accuracy. I don't see this thing working any better than a controller for that reason.
The media control stuff is pretty cool, but my concern would be it reading body movements that I don't want it to read.
My prediction is it'll feel much like the wii. Incredible at first, you'll want one so bad and then within 3 months you don't use it at all. There's just something about buttons.
This demo from Jimmy Fallon last year was hit and miss for me. The ball game looked pretty cool, but the driving looked obnoxious.
