Now that's just ridiculous... To vow to never buy another product from a company because they choose to not carry a screen protector that is available all over the place. Get real.
You have every right to jailbreak your iPod, nothing is making it "illegal". But realize that they have every right to manufacture a product in a way that makes it difficult to jailbreak. It isn't as if they advertised it to be a device that is easily jailbroken and then all of a sudden changed their policy.
You bought an iPod knowing full well that Apple likes having their products locked down to a degree to promote stability. Yet you complain that you should be able to jailbreak it.
