It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this famed decapitator suffered from some form of mental illness, however, possibly complicating the debate of whether or not he deserves to die, should you chose to engage in such an argument.

If this guy had done this anywhere in the US, or any country where Capital Punishment was enforced, and he had been deemed mentally competent, would anyone on this board be defending his right to live, or the inhumanity of him payng for his crime with his life? I hope not. People like this, and crimes like this, in my personal opinion, are the very reason we should have capital punishment in Canada. Yes capital punishment has its flaws, wrongful convictions... etc. But when someone is cutting up a body, and eating it, in front of 30 some odd people, I believe you have sufficient evidence for a conviction.
