I'm a war buff too, so I know the history, thank you very much.
I want to know about the people/characters that are going over there. In my opinion, the lack of development with the characters did nothing for me in making a connection when they suddenly appeared in battle. I found myself wondering which one was which. It's the first episode, granted, but regardless, thats the way I felt. I'm sure that'll change by next episode. It's going to be wicked.
