They didn't have to pick a QB, but this move gives more insurance that the Broncos won't be necessarily looking for one in the first two days. If they pick a QB, probably be a low round pick if anything.
I'm not betting much for Quinn to be anything special for the Broncos either, which is why the price we gave up to get him doesn't phase me.

Broncos did bring in Pike from Cincinnati for a workout. Speculation they'll grab him in the later rounds.
