I don't get the whole 10/20/30 thing the Alberta school system has going on.

Does it not make infinitely more sense to go 10/11/12, since that's the way the grades go?

And as for advice for high school students, do as little as possible to get into university. Don't be a hero and take a full schedule unless you're really trying to get into Harvard or something. If you're just going to go to UofC or something, just do what needs to be done and nothing more. Because doing anything more than is required is just a waste of time.

My grade 12 schedule, after (during I guess) which I recieved early acceptance with scholarship to UVic:

Semester 1:

Math 12
Physics 12
English 12
PE 11/12

Semester 2:

Chemistry 12
PE 11/12
Cooking 11/12

4 provincially examinable courses required, 4 provincially examinable courses taken. None of this History, Geography, Biology, French, Journalism bullshinguard. Just what's needed.
