Yup, I've see that chart before. As I mentioned earlier, there no native OSX T1 software from major developers, only a few small time developers. Doubt they'd cover any damages from a botched calculation. You're only left with the hosted online solutions.
Agreed, the functionality is similar but I know a number of people that aren't comfortable with sending their full taxation and financial details to a 3rd party processor.
