I was at Dobson's Pub about a month ago...
As I was leaving, I passed a couple CPS officers on my way out. Once outside there must have been 15 patrol cars and "suited up" officers congregating outside. Another patron said that they were blocking the front door too. I asked an officer if it was wise to stay in the area, he said nothing. About 20 officers proceed to make their way in.
I decided it was wise to leave. I went back a days later and asked a server what happened. Apparently, there was a high profile criminal in the establishment. She said she knew him (the criminal), and that he wasn't a bad guy. The whole thing ended without incedent.
I was surprised at the show of force, never seen anything like that before. The suspect must have done something serious to provoke that reaction by the CPS.
