I can't believe how picky some of these donation places are. My mom had an old fridge and stove that worked just fine that she wanted to donate. I called Goodwill and asked them if they were interested in working appliances. She asked what colour they were, I told her 'almond', she said 'no thanks'.
Okie dokey. Didn't know that people without appliances would rather cook on an open fire than be caught dead with 90s coloured appliances.
