Fair enough. I think my initial reaction when I heard about Downey Jr. being selected was that I didn't know he had straightened his life out, rather than his acting skills. I believe I predicted on-set drama, delays and eventually another trip to rehab. I'm glad that didn't happen.

The problem for Krasinski in my mind is that his performance is going to have to be better than other candidates to overcome semi-typecasting. People associate him with Jim's role only (goofy, love-struck, corny, funny). He's really going to have to deliver to make people forget about that.
