I recently watched "3 Idiots", and have been looking for some good Hindi movies. It was in Hindi with English subtitles. A pretty good movie.

The boyfriend and I, just watched a British-Indian movie called "East is East", a pretty good movie. It takes place in the 70's in Manchester, England. It's about a Pakistani man married to a white British lady and they have 7 kids together. The movie is about balancing the two cultures, more so about instilling the Pakistani culture at home and how the kids struggle with picking one culture over the other.

I am also an admirer of Deepa Mehta's movies, she is a Canadian-Indian director, and many of you may know the movie called Water by her.
