22 guaranteed and 27 of it in the first 3 years is the important part of the deal. It is a lot for a linebacker, but in an uncapped season, teams who think they are close can be a bit more aggressive. Dansby was regarded as the second best free agent by many, and really his production may be as good or better than Peppers.
