The anthem is fine the way it is, I think...and even if there is a change, in all honesty, how many people are going to remember? I sure won't....I don't really think about the words when I sing the anthem, it's just habit for me, really.

And, as a woman, I think the "gender equality" argument for this is insane. I am not offended that my gender is not mentioned in the anthem. I AM offended that I make 60% of what my male peers make, with the same education and same work experience. If gender equality truly is part of the motivation for this change (which I have heard conflicting reports about), then there are much more important places to be starting, IMO.
