I would be absolutely disgusted and furious if this actually happens. I love our anthem just the way it is and I'm female. I have never felt "disrespected or demeaned" in any way when I hear and sing O Canada.
I hate the whole "PC" thing. Nothing makes me feel more like an outsider or different than some person taking it upon themselves to make up words to define me. People just need to grow thicker skin already.
Not everything should be mucked around with and our anthem is one of those things.

Don't "modernize" our anthem by spewing out some screeching Beyonced-up version, and don't change a word of it because you think I should be offended somehow.
Just leave it alone already. Geez.
