Humans have opposable thumbs, giving them the ability to create and use tools. Raptors do not. For the same reason lions, sharks, or other great predatory animals are not the dominant species today, raptors would not be either. I'm shocked we're even having this debate.

It took us years to figure that shinguard out, we'd be extinct in 20 yrs. Hell if Raptors were around at our time, everything would be extinct, including them since when there is no food, you die. A Raptor could be as big as 15 feet tall and thousand of pounds, They things were like made up dragons without wings.

At the time of our beginning we were barely capable of grunting it took centuries to begin to communicate, we were lucky that our most dangerous predator was a large cat, which still wiped out alot of us. I would put my life on it that if there were Raptors at the time of our beginning we would have been wiped out.
