That episode was disappointing. I was expecting real answers. And for the love of god, Kate has to be the stupidest character i have ever seen in any tv show/movie/real life. She makes me not want to watch the show.

As much as its pointing to a jesus (especially if Jacob is resurected) vs Satan story line, they've been pretty clear that smokey is merely a man trapped on the Island.
I have my doubts about the man fact unless he and Jacob were selected by the last guardian's of the Island
To be honest, the splitting of the timeline is boring as hell especially the non crash time line.
We knew that Sayid had bloodied his hands before, but he went outright dark in a hurry, but again its shades of Grey because the people in the temple were not exactly lilly white in this, they lied and decieved most of the major players. Maybe the Locke/creature is actually the "Good" guy in all of this and Jacob is evil.
Interesting that we haven't seen much of Sawyer, and except for a brief jungle warning Richard is missing, and Ben has been a fairly minor character for a lot of this season.
I will admit dirty angry evil claire is hot.
