So... I couldn't place Sochi on a map with 50 tries and a gun to my head. I started looking into the hosts of the next Winter Olympics amid all the criticisms of just about everything Vancouver and Canada did from the Russians, I wanted to see how they might do hosting an Olympic Games.

Well, turns out Sochi is on the Black Sea and is Russia's unofficial summer capital. It's a balmy 17 degC there today and should drop all the way down to 11 by Thursday. Our athletes will be able to keep cool by shading themselves under one of the many palm trees in the area.

They also have not a single sports facility for these games built and will have to build everything including a transit system from scratch.

Should be interesting to follow the construction process as we get closer to 2014. Hopefully, they get their s together and we can go over and pwn the odium again.
