I wasn't trying to make fun of University students. Obviously taking the right classes, you can't go wrong, and will get a good paying job.
The political science jab was mainly at people who look down on people who don't go to University, when all they are in is general studies, political science ect. The remark was really about someone I kinda know who looks down on people not in University. He thinks he is smarter than anyone not in University, and likes to make little remarks about it any chances he gets. All he has is a politcal science degree.
-I laugh at people who listen to Nickleback. (I think I might get flamed for this one, they are popular for some odd reason)

Now, I'm not saying I'm smarter than all those who are not University educated, but in eight months, all I'll have is a political science degree. Are you saying that those who only have political science degrees are not as smart as those with, say, an engineering degree? Because frankly, you're looking down on me for only having a political science degree. One I've worked very hard for. And I'll tell you what, I am smarter than a lot of people who aren't University educated. I don't necessarily look down on them, unless not only are they stupid, they are ignorant as well. There are people in University or who have graduated that also resemble those traits.
So tell me, what kind of University degree does one have to have to be considered intelligent? Since you seem so smart.... [/b][/quote]
Not what I'm saying at all. Like I said before, the jab was mostly toward a person I know. Their are some very intelligent people in political science, who take it towards getting into other classes.
I'll give you a bit more detail about the person I'm talking about, since a few are thinking that I'm saying political science is easy, and people in it are dumb.
When people start talking politics, this guy becomes a real gem. His opinion on everything is right because of this degree. You disagree with something he says, and he retorts with, "kay, I have a political science degree, so I think I know what I'm talking about", even if their is no right or wrong answer. He is right because of his degree. We laugh at him even more, because his job is something someone with a grade 10 education can get. (hence the fries with that political degree comment)
Peter12, I'm sure it is hardwork, that wasn't what I meant. But if your taking political science, and not planning on taking anything else in Uni. it isn't that useful. But like I said above, if your talking it toward getting admitted into other classes, than thats great.
