Yeah sleep meds would help you. But if it's a chronic problem maybe talk to your Doctor.

When I get tense I also have problems sleeping, but there's not much I can really do. I usually just study/read/watch tv until I get tired. I find running or doing anything that releases epinephrine/NE to be worse.
