I completely agrre with Jay here.
JC's gold medal stunned me. He was quite far behind after he first run and suddenly caught up and won gold. His history is facinating and he was as deserving of a gold as any athelite at the games.
And anyone that has his kids in the stands with a sign that says "Go Papa" is deserving of our applause.
This is what the Olympics is all about.
