I dunno, I didnt see the tackle, but to be injured that severely one of three things has to happen; you either put yourself into a position where you were going to get smoked by reckless abandon, the tackle was unquestionably malicious or a combination thereof.

I dont understand how they can say that they want more protection against what seemingly wasnt a malicious tackle. I mean, what kind of 'protection' are they asking for? Fat Italians with bats? Steel leg covers?

At the end of the day they can ban the offender for as long as they like, but buddy is still going to the hospital with a leg and a half.
