That is true, but it was also in a festive environment as well. So considering it was party time around the TV set, can't really cry foul on him for that either.

When they decided to start this impromptu celebration, they had no reasonable expectation that photos of it would ever see the light of day. Then, the wrong person caught wind of it and it became a bigger deal than it should have.

It's true they probably exagerated a bit to have fun with some of the arena staff around, but I imagine the photos would have gotten to the media sooner or later. How the heck do photos of a shirtless Patrick Kane or Phaneuf and Kipper smoking manage to get up on the internet? Would've been naive to think it wouldn't pop up sometime soon.
The women team didn't really do anything wrong and don't have to apologize, but it does look bad PR wise and not so classy. Guess at the moment of winning though doesn't really matter and this story won't be talked about once next week starts.
