Did not know the story about Montgomery. If that is true he also should have been more choosy about the area for his celebration.

Montgomery and this are different though and there is no shame in what Montgomery did. He was in a festive celebratory mood and enviroment when a stranger (at least I assume) hands him a beer jug and he just chugs it. Everyone was in love with the ordeal.
The women hockey team celebration was a very brash and arrogant style of celebration in front of cameras on top of official Olympic hockey ring ice. Plus these celebrations occur in locker rooms so it's a bit of abnormal scene.
It's not a big deal at all and they have the right to celebrate and party hard, but I can see why the latter will create disapproval thoughts. Has nothing to do with the sport, or the genders, it's just the way they celebrated and the spot to do it at.
