Canada's Own The Podium kind of goes against the whole "just being there is enough" mentality which is why I personally disagree with the program. The increase funding and coaching is a great thing for development but not at the expense of becoming a purely medal or you've failed mindset. |
I know that the Olympics isn't actually a circus or intended to resemble one in anyway. The fact that it does is an accident.
