How are home/away teams determined for the Olympics?
Just because Canada is playing "at home" in Vancouver doesn't mean they are the home team. As mentioned above the away team is in white and home team in dark. Slovakia was seeded below Canada and will therefore be the away team. Canada will wear their red jerseys and get the last change which will be beneficially when matching against Chara.
