This year Kipper has better SV% and GAA numbers than Luongo. That is the criteria this year. Wins are not as important this year, as Kipper has suffered from a poor team in front of him. Again it is Luongo's bad luck that he has not played at a consistently high level in the stats that matter this year, GAA and SV%. Please pay attention to what stats and logic matter and how they correlate with the calendar.

Why is this so surprising? It's a Calgary Flames fan board. Imagine that. Flames fans who take glee in a Vancouver Canuck goalie doing bad. That's illogical!
