When did I say that? Kiprusoff has done a lot more in his career than Luongo in a shorter time span so Kiprusoff has a lot less to prove. Luongo is still waiting to win that defining game of his career. Luongo has been the reason the Canucks have been booted from the playoffs the last two times, missed the playoffs because of him in another. When you look at Kiprusoff he is the only reason the last three playoffs the series have gone 6-7 instead of 4.
Luongo could change all that with a Gold medal win but without a Gold (or Silver with a good performance) he hasn't done anything in his career. Luongo is a top goaltender in the NHL, just hasn't proved it outside a few playoff births.
