Except I am in the same boat as you. I dont mind Canada winning, I was simply pointing out how different the wins were viewed. I know I am on a Canadian message board. Like I said I want to see a US/Can gold medal game. It would mean a lot for us to even medal much less have a shot at the gold. |
Yeah, but what you're failing to realize is that the games were viewed differently because THEY WERE different. Canada played really well against the Americans and ran into an amazing goaltending performance by Ryan Miller.
Where as, Canada dominated Russia, and while Nabokov let in a couple of softies, Canada still would have destroyed them, or at the very least, won convincingly.
