I basically consider Canada as part of the United States but liberal version. ( or vise versa )

I really would love to visit Canada. But school and money make it hard for me.

Now I also believe that if Canada were to come under attack like the US did during 9/11 we would see all us Americans rally around our Brothers and Sisters up north.

People have to realize that in the US school system they don't teach much about Canadian history. Well I guess that is hard when its American History class.

But I am a huge history fan and understand the sacrifices that our brothers and sisters up north made to make the rest of the world better.

I really don't understand why this always has to turn into I hate America or Americans thread. What did an American do to you?

I was taught by my mother that never hate someone or dislike someone because of were they are from. There is a difference between Americans and our government.

I wish our government wouldn't be such jack asses about canadians coming across the boarder because now its a huge PITA to get to go to canada now.

Any ways I was rooting for the Americans in the Olympics vs the Canadians but that's because I'm American.

Just because I do that doesn't mean I hate Canadians.
