Good old, Toyota. Just like every other manufacturer, raping the customer for stuff that costs them peanuts. Those crackheads try to charge me $50 to rotate my tires. Granted, not every person has a jack and the wherewithall to do it themselves, but I had to surrender my free oil changes because I refused to pay for the tire rotations.
I don't think $50 is exactly raping you on a tire rotation. They have to pay a tech to do it and your vehicle is taking up space in their shop while they're performing the rotation, which means they aren't billing out that space on something more profitable.

I agree dealerships are brutal on some of their charges, but that one seems reasonable from their perspective IMO. And if buddy's getting it done for $20 that is an absolute bargain, although my guess is they must already have his tires off to check his brakes or something since it's so cheap. They would be losing money if they were doing just that for $20 lol.
