Go to a chiropractor is my recommendation as well. I have had sciatica. Medication will help with the pain but not the cause. I did physio before trying the chiropractor and this did give me much more relieve than seeing the doctor and taking painkillers. Sciatica did eventually return though. The stretching and exercises I learned in physio made it more manageable but it was still a literal pain in the ass. My chiropractor helped immediately. It did take more than one visit for the cause to be corrected but the pain was greatly reduced after one visit. I went to the chiropractor 3 years ago for the first time and my sciatica has never come back. The cause has been corrected. The visit is covered under my health plan at work. If you want a recommendation on a chiropractor let me know and I will give you his name. Hope the pain ends soon.
