2k6 will definetely be more realistic (Bolded so JayP doesn't ignore this comment), and it'd be stupid for any hockey fan to not buy it.. the price is right and i'm sure the game is good. But I don't personally care how "realistic" NHL 06 is.. it's fataing fun and that's all that matters.

Just because I prefer 2k's product means I'm a fanboy?
EA puts out crap every year IMO - why is that so hard to believe? When I play EA games it doesn't even feel like I'm playing. Sure the goals might look pretty and nice, but I don't even feel like I scored them.
It's a lot easier to make a realistic game arcadish than it is to make an arcade realistic. I got the best of both worlds with 2k6.
