Mine is opposite! I lay down or sit and it doesnt hurt that bad... when I stand up and walk ,the pain in my ankle is unbearable. Its on the outside and where it hurts is really swollen, hard, and tender to the touch. WHen i sit or lay down it hurts bad for a couple more minutes and then its relieved.... Its really cutting into my hockey time. I had a pain like this prob last Sept. and had 2 toradol shots and now its back. It seemed very relieved after the 1st shot but it will be a week tomorrow since my first shot . It was hurting all the time in any position at first, so i guess it relieved that but i want the ankle pain gone lol.
